Map of Success, 2017

Artifical life installation on a map of success

This project is an interactive work that uses intelligent agents in a computer program to explore the social complexity of attaining success. The project incorporates an allegorical map, “The Road to Success” copied and modified from The Etude published in October 1913. This map acts as a stage for hand drawn bots to move through and live through the experience of trying to attain success in a society of limited resources. The piece draws an awareness of how limited resources does really impact the success of an individual.
